the four letter B word (an introduction)

Guess what time it is, folks? That's right- It's bloggin' time! And it's about time. I feel like I'm the last one on the bandwagon, but what can I say- I'm a leader, not a follower ;)

So what prompted this sudden interest in the four-letter B word, you might ask? Well, first of all, lately I have a lot of time on my hands. No, I am not unemployed or recently divorced, but I do, in fact, get paid to sit at a desk all day being a warm body in a room. Sometimes there are actually things for me to do, but that's neither here nor there. So I will put some of this extra time into this blog which will allow me to write, express myself creatively, and share things that interest me...

...which brings me to my second point. I am very much interested in all things aethestically pleasing, which I must have gotten from my mother, a unique Libran with a keen eye for coolness. The two of us have similar taste, so she may collaborate with me on this blog a bit. She is certainly welcome to. Our latest home decor shopping trip proved that each of us has our own personal style that often intertwines with one another's. Therefore, our combined efforts = success! My condo is continually evolving, and I am getting closer to making a move into a larger space so I can continue to surround myself with things I love without looking like a hoarder.
